In 2019, Klarrio examined the possibilities of offering its employees more flexible remuneration via a cafeteria plan. This showed that many extra-legal remuneration options were already standard in the package, and that there was still room for improvement in terms of mobility.

  

In 2020, Klarrio decided to further modernize its mobility policy. After an information and survey of fleet users, 80% were interested in the mobility budget.

  

By introducing this mobility budget, Klarrio wanted to be able to respond better to requests from its employees, and above all to provide a more flexible and generous mobility offer.

  

In the complex Belgian landscape regarding mobility issues, and for a future-oriented offer of alternative means of transport, external expertise was welcome.  "We chose MMBB to set up a mobility budget for our employees," says Kurt Jonckheer, CEO of Klarrio.

"It started with the drafting of a mobility policy under which the existing fleet of vehicles fell. This mobility policy served as the starting point for drawing the outlines for the mobility budget."

 

Both the management of the existing fleet and the rollout of the mobility budget were entrusted to MMBB.

MMBB's personalized approach helped Klarrio step by step in the implementation of a mobility budget that fits Klarrio's organization and philosophy.  MMBB's expertise was fundamental in calculating the TCO of Klarrio's vehicles, creating user categories and their rights, as well as the rules related to the electrification of the fleet.

In addition, MMBB ensures that Klarrio's mobility policy remains up-to-date and adapted to the rapidly changing tax and social legislation. The collaboration with MMBB freed up Klarrio's time, while saving on management costs.

With an active participation of 75% of Klarrio employees in the mobility plan and 50% who did not opt for a company car, people's mobility needs were positively met while reducing Klarrio's carbon footprint.
